Our firm combines over ten years� industry experience. Founded in 1998 by James Pruett and Troy L. Pope III with the idea of identifying the needs of the emerging voice/data networking and telecommunications market. A native Texan, Mr. Pruett obtained an Economics degree from the University of Texas at Austin and began his professional career as a financial consultant at Shearson Lehman Hutton. Mr. Pope, meanwhile, has over 3 years experience in recruiting. Prior to joining Aztec Technology as Managing Partner, Mr. Pope developed marketing plans and strategies specifically targeting the telecommunications industry as well as having Fortune 500 experience in public relations and client development. Mr. Pope holds advanced degrees in English and Political Science.

Our staff includes Mark Stephenson, with over 5 years experience recruiting information technology personnel. Although our primary market is Texas, we have completed search assignments in Silicon Valley as well as in remote locations, such as Jakarta, Indonesia. We have recruited candidates from a variety of countries including Denmark, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and Mexico. We maintain an active database of Latin American telecom specialists, available for work in the U.S. and Latin America.

- Provide input on candidate market and compensation trends

- Conduct candidate research and recruiting
